We offer mindfulness meditation training and chair yoga sessions. With an emphasis on releasing tension and increasing an overall sense of well being, our 30-45 minute weekly sessions are specifically tailored for the office worker. Our programs work best with a 3-4 month commitment as we aim to empower employees with the tools to continue practicing on their own.
Mindfulness Meditation – A technique for quieting and focusing the mind. Sessions include light stretching and specific breath work that helps reduce stress and counter screen apnea or “the temporary cessation of breath or shallow breathing while sitting in front of a screen.” Weekly sessions of 30-45 minutes are recommended.
Chair Yoga – Stretching and breath connected movements that focus specifically on promoting good postural alignment for those in an office setting who sit throughout the day. Target areas include neck, shoulders, wrists and back. Weekly sessions of 30-45 minutes are recommended.
